Rick, they are so nice!  Is that the Airfix Mini?  I have two of them (original issues) but neither has the wheel flairs.  Did you add them or are they on the slot car kit version of the car (Strombecker)?

Hi mustangman,

Thanks, glad you like them !

Yes, the Mini is the MRRC slot version of the Airfix Mini.  For a full build log on it ( including adding the wheel arches ), and for some of my other cars, please check out http://photobucket.com/britfix

Cheers

Rick,
I particularly like the Mini as I used to race a 970cc Cooper S at Mosport in the late '60's and early '70's.
I tried to build one of my Airfix Mini's into a typical '60's club racer but had lost the original windshield and my replacement was far from successful.  For wide wheels I used to Mini wheels glued back to back.  The model is not completed as I kinda' got sidetracked into something else!

The Aston isn't finished either.  Two models on the backburner until I get back to them.

You're right Fred, I'm jealous.  That's why I took a blurry photo, so you can't see how bad mine really is compared to Rick's!
hahahahaha......
