Here's a Lindberg 1/32 scale kit of the MGA 1600, super-detailed and converted for slot racing using an MRRC Cobra chassis ( forward-mounted motor allows a full interior ).

I've often thought about getting a couple of the Lindberg 1/32 sports cars, but haven't been too impressed with the quality.
You certainly have shown what a skilled hand can do with them.
