Here's are a few pics of my 1934 Bugatti T59

This was the last of Ettore Bugatti's GP cars and was powered by a 3.3 litre supercharged engine based very closely on the American Miller design.  At a time when his main competitors were bringing out single seaters the T59 was still based on the old sports car format and it met with very limited success - nevertheless I think it has to be one of most beautiful cars ever to have graced the track.

This is a South Eastern Finecast white metal kit in 1/24 which, I believe, was first produced around about the early 70's.   The piano wire wheels are from the Le Mans Miniatures Type 57G Bugatti (sold as a separate kit).

On to the pictures - hope you like.......

Thank you for participating in the show.  We will begin another one in a couple of months.

This Bugatti has always been one of my favorites! it is the classic race car,  the "poster race car"  of that era.  The irony that you pointed out is the finest production of one era comes at the beginning of another era.
I have the plastic version of the Bugatti racer, but the Finecast are the most highly detailed kits.  You have done a beautiful job on this one and i look forward to seeing more.

Outstanding build from a very difficult kit.  Thanks for sharing your work with us.
