Please note:  Due to the problems that we have been experiencing with this forum, the administrators decided to open a new forum site, which will be a continuation of this one.  You can find the new, expanded forum at http://automotion.myfastforum.org/ .  We hope you will join us in the new forum.  This existing forum site will remain open for reference but will not be monitored on a regular basis.   If you have made posts here that you wish to transfer to the new site, you will have to "copy" and "paste" the topic in the appropriate location in the new forum. This forum is for the enjoyment of those who's hobby interest include building, collecting and creating model cars.  These models represent the antique cars of the late 1800's through the 1930's.  The model kits are antiques themselves having been produced in the 1950' and 1960's.  Our interests include the early history of the automobile, the authentic representation of those automobiles through the building of models, as well as the history of the models themselves. The use of this forum is not strictly limited to model cars of any one scale or to strictly model cars as the interest of the members may be more diverse.                                                     As a guest, you have access to many of our categories, but this web site will not allow a response or allow you to visit some of the categories without being a member, so if you are interested in this hobby we would invite you to leave us an email note at: tkelgord@verizon.net about your interests.   Please leave an email address if you would like one of us to contact you regarding our forum. We hope you will help us to build this valuable source of historical information, by becoming a member and submitting text and photographs of your models and their prototypes.   We have initially provided a thread about the 1911 Stanley Steamer and it will give you an idea of the format required for each post. We hope this new "virtual museum" will become a valuable reference source of historical automobiles and plastic model kits from the days of the early pioneers through to the changing times of the 1950's and 1960's.
